Providing Families with Essential Items
With limitations on international travel due to COVID-19, seven families who live outside the U.S. found themselves staying here for an extended time period as their children underwent treatment at the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Cincinnati. During this already stressful time, the families also faced challenges taking care of simple tasks, like safely shopping for essential items. Our Morrison Healthcare associates recognized this and worked with the hospital to grant these families access to Morrison Healthcare’s in-house Pop-Up Market, which was originally set up for hospital staff to safely shop for much-needed items.
Feeding Our Communities
School may be out, but our Chartwells K12 team is still busy preparing meals for students and their families impacted by COVID-19. Chartwells K12 associates at Wichita Falls Independent School District are hitting the streets in their food truck this summer, bringing meals and peace of mind to their community.
