Back to School with our Chartwells HE & Chartwells K12 Chefs

Soon, students across the country will step onto a college campus for the first time or walk the familiar halls of their elementary, middle, or high school as their academic journey continues.  

A new school year brings a lot of change—new teachers, new curriculum, new challenges, and new friends. But amongst all that change, one thing remains constant: the care and passion of our school chefs and culinarians.  

Among these dedicated professionals are Chartwells K12’s Keri Pinard and Melissa Carlson, and Chartwells Higher Ed’s Micole Rivera Suàrez and Amy Clippard. With warm smiles and creative dishes, these chefs are ready to welcome students back to the cafeteria. 

We sat down with these chefs at our 2024 Women in Culinary showcase to hear their stories and we now have the pleasure of sharing them with you.
