Carolinas Kidney Walk
Compass Group recently participated in the Carolinas Kidney Walk, which benefits the National Kidney Foundation.
The Kidney Walk is the nation’s largest walk to fight kidney disease. Held in nearly 100 communities, the event raises awareness and funds lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families and those at risk. This is our tenth year and continues to be one of our most successful cross-sector initiatives.
Associates from Canteen, Chartwells Higher Education, Corporate, Eurest, Flik Independent Schools Dining, Foodbuy, Levy Restaurants, Morrison Healthcare, Thompson Hospitality and Wolfgang Puck Catering participate each year bringing family, friends and even a few dogs!
In 2015, over 160 associates walked together raising over $13,000 through Compass in the Community sponsorship, in-unit promotion activities and individual walker fundraising.
