Josh is an AV Link Training Manager with Eurest. Josh joined Compass Group five years ago as a Technician and was recently promoted to his current role. In this role, Josh works with Compass Group, the client, and our global partners to develop a comprehensive training program for the client’s AV Link Program. The AV Link team manages the technical support and maintenance of over 6,500 conference rooms throughout North America, and supports over 7,000 conference rooms globally through enterprise management tools and remote manageability.
Describe your proudest moment at Compass so far.
It would have to be my recent trip to a client site in Sydney. With the partnership of my team, I flew there, trained the staff, and resolved major technical issues. Ultimately, this trip is one of the items that set me up to take on my current role.
What is the best career advice that you have ever received?
Treat everyone (your employees, your boss, your coworkers, and, most importantly, your client) like they are a client of your own business.
What made you smile at work today?
My coworkers. Plain and simple, they make this a fun, challenging, and amazing place to work.
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Curious, intuitive, and exuberant…although, my coworkers might just say loud 🙂
If you had to pick one food to describe yourself, what item would you pick and why?
I would have to say burrito. It is made up of a lot of different ingredients and no one item is better than the other. I am a “jack of all trades,” or at least I try to be.
