October 31, 2018

Compass Group is only as strong as its people—so it’s a good thing that we have some seriously amazing people. This week, we’re introducing our “Meet” series to introduce you to a few of your top talented co-workers. From an improv expert to today’s hockey star, this series is designed to give you a peek at some of the cool stuff our colleagues are doing when they’re not behind their desks.

Meet Kristi

Up first? VP of Business Development, Corporate Services, Kristi Muller, who has been at Compass for more than 25 years.

What’s the first thing you do at work each morning?
Check Outlook.

What is one of your greatest strengths at work?
My high C (analytical) nature and operational background help me to problem solve and consider different options.

What are you currently reading or watching?
“Remarkable!: Maximizing Results through Value Creation,” by Dr. Randy Ross and David Salyers.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Play hockey, run, and spend time on the lake. As for hockey, I started skating for the first time in my life in my 40s. I then joined a women’s hockey team in Minnesota called the Lucky Pucks and have been playing in a league for approximately seven years now. I love the fast pace of the game and it is a great stress reliever and workout!

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever been given?
Live by the Golden Rule in everything I do.
