Women Designing Sustainable Futures at Compass Group

March 02, 2026

March is Women’s History Month, and Compass Group proudly celebrates women shaping our organization. This year’s theme, Women Designing Sustainable Futures, reflects the real work happening every day to advance progress for people and planet across the hospitality industry.

As part of our celebration, we’re spotlighting two dozen women from across our business who are driving impact in five strategic areas: Guiding What’s Next, Shaping Our Culture, Building Smarter Solutions, Nourishing Communities, and Protecting What Matters. Meet these leaders and explore their perspectives on a sustainable future.

“We don’t build the future by accident,” notes Aleshia McMath, Global Director of Inclusion, Opportunity & Wellness. “We build it intentionally — with inclusion as our daily practice and opportunity as our promise.”

That same intentionality is on full display during our Women in Culinary (WIC) Showcase, which brings together 32 standout chefs for an immersive learning experience in Charlotte on March 9–11. Launched in 2019 and led by our Culture, Opportunity & Inclusion team, WIC is a signature development program focused on growth, innovation, and leadership — elevating the next generation of culinary talent across our business.

The work of designing sustainable futures does not happen in isolation. It happens in meetings, in kitchens, in conversations, and in the decisions we make every day. These leaders and chefs are showing us how.
